Rise makes or breaks a wide leg
A wide leg hangs from the waistband, so the rise decides everything. Off-the-rack wide legs often use one tall rise for every body: on a short torso it reaches the ribs, on a long torso it lands low and the leg looks dropped.
Choose High or Ultra High, and if you own a pair whose waist sits exactly right, give us its front and back rise. Those two optional numbers are the most useful thing you can add to a wide-leg order.
Then let the hem follow the shoe. Measure your inseam in the shoes you'll wear most, and the leg will hover just above them instead of catching under your heel.

Do wide leg jeans suit petite women?
Yes. A high rise and a full-length hem cut to your height keep the line long; a shoe with a little heel helps. Because the inseam is cut to you, there's no extra fabric pooling on the floor.
What shoes go with wide leg jeans?
Pointed flats, heeled boots and platforms balance the volume. Whatever you choose, measure your inseam in those shoes so the hem sits where you want it.
Full length, cropped or puddle hem?
Full length hovers just over the shoe, cropped ends above the ankle, and a puddle hem is long enough to break on the floor. It's simply the inseam you give us.
Can I get a raw or cuffed hem on wide leg jeans?
